Nehmen wir zum Beispiel die Nacktheit, so wie sie sich in der Werbung, der “erotischen Eskalation”, der Wiederentdeckung des Körpers und der Sexualität durch die Massenmedien darstellt. Diese Nacktheit möchte progressiv, rational sein: sie behauptet, die “Wahrheit des Körpers” wiederzufinden, seinen “natürlichen” Seinsgrund, jenseits von Kleidern, Tabus und Moden. Und tatsächlich allzu rationalistisch, geht sie am Körper vorbei, dessen sexuelle und symbolische Wahrheit eben nicht in der naiven Nacktheit liegt, sondern in der Entblößung.
